Job summary

Family Connections in New Jersey is seeking a NJ4S Prevention Consultant to collaborate with schools, districts, and community partners in delivering evidence-based prevention curricula and trainings. The role emphasizes data collection, continuous quality improvement, and effective service coordination to support youth and families.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field, at least 3 years in nonprofit prevention work, and a valid NJ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field and 3+ years in nonprofit prevention programs.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license, safe driving record, and vehicle available.
• Knowledge of community resources, social service, and mental health systems.
• Experience in community organizing and developing partnerships, implementing evidence-based programs, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community providers to facilitate training and webinars.
• Facilitates evidence-based curricula to students, families, community members and school personnel on prevention topics.
• Assists in programmatic data collection, reporting, and quality improvement processes.
• Provides follow-up to ensure consumer satisfaction of services.
• Coordinates program services to ensure effective service delivery, including purchasing, event planning, and productivity tracking.
• Attends trainings, staff trainings and meetings to improve professional skills.
• Maintains systems and records for programmatic operations with accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
