Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier seeks a Prevention Coordinator to support the National Guard Bureau programs focused on Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention. The role involves coordinating SAP and SP training for Service members, families, and ARNG units.

The candidate should have a background in prevention or resilience programs, strong briefing skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules. A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years' experience in prevention, suicide prevention, or resilience programs.
• Experience instructing and briefing diverse audiences with strong communication.
• Ability to work variable schedules, including weekends, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide quarterly information briefings on state and national substance abuse and suicide prevention.
• Enter SAP and SP training data into DAMIS and ALURRT within 48 hours of receipt.
• Electronically report all scheduled SAP and SP training within 48 hours of completion.
• Enter all assessment/referral and treatment data of Service Members into DAMIS within 24 hours of appointment.
• Coordinate and conduct SAP and SP training for Service members, families, and ARNG units per AR 600-85 and AR 350-53.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
