Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services in New Jersey seeks a dedicated prevention program specialist to collaborate with schools, consultants, and community partners. You will assist in program planning, data collection, reporting, and quality improvement, delivering trainings, workshops, webinars, and assemblies.

The role requires presenting to diverse audiences, coordinating services across Burlington County, travel as needed, and implementing evidence-based curricula with fidelity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field.
• At least three years’ experience in non-profit or social services.
• Experience in prevention programs or community-based services.
• Experience with evidence-based practice models and training/coaching per procedures.
• Year-for-year substitution: thirty semester hours equals one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, assemblies, etc. Will assist in the programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes and evaluation of services to target population. Assists in planning and implementing programs in schools and communities. Demonstrates the ability to effectively facilitate presentations and prevention programming for audiences of varying sizes; including classroom-based instruction, small groups, large school assemblies, and community events. Maintains alliances with organizations which have similar or allied goals, such as, school board, local law enforcement, healthcare providers, community centers and service providers. Will serve as a customer service provider to ensure a positive relationship in interactions with all participants, applying schools and community. Implements evidence-based prevention services and curricula with fidelity. Will travel throughout Burlington County to coordinate service delivery with schools. At least three (3) years’ experience working in non-profit, social service environment in development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs. Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training, coaching according to policies and procedures.
