Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Adequate manual dexterity and multi‑limbed coordination.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Basic measurement skills for length, width, height and weight.
• Basic arithmetic to handle decimals and fractions.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Sound decision making based on knowledge and experience.
• Able to lift up to 100 lb occasionally and 60 lb repeatedly.
• Must stand for extended periods.
• Able to push/pull up to 80 lb.
• Comfort with temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• General tasks with detailed instructions in shop flow.
• Maintain production equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Participate in equipment training.
• Clean equipment per maintenance procedures.
• Use hand and power tools and material handling equipment.
• Pull and assemble orders based on work/shipping orders.
• Coordinate and execute material handling.
• Perform quality control inspections.
• Sort and package parts as directed.
• Tag material for proper ID and complete documentation.
• Complete work order paperwork.
• Operate yard truck, forklift, and overhead crane for loading/unloading.
• Spot-check inventory and ensure proper tagging.
• Report irregularities to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
