Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on Gas, Electric, Water, and Steam Powered Commercial Kitchen and HVAC Equipment
• Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients, explaining repair procedures, and offering solutions to minimize downtime
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used; prepare and submit service reports and invoices promptly
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; order and replenish supplies as needed; maintain truck stock to ensure required parts are available
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and training

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, or related field preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA certification, or equivalent are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background screening
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, time management, and customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds; frequently move up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights
• Stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Travel extensively to work site locations
• Work safely around electrical, steam, and high heat units with appropriate safety equipment
