Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance on customer and rental machines at client sites.

You will drive to job sites daily, operate heavy equipment for performance checks, complete service work orders, and maintain safety standards. A mechanical background with 2–3 years of experience and a valid Georgia driver license (CDL preferred) are required.

Qualifications

Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Can work independently with little to no supervision.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends.
Candidates missing one requirement will still be considered.
Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL.

Responsibilities

Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiency’s or performance issues daily.
Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required.
Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites.

Education/Experience:
