Siemens Energy Staffing seeks a Payroll Specialist to support the North America payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll activities within internal controls. You will handle case management, data validation, reporting, and audit readiness in a compliant environment.

The role focuses on certified payroll, prevailing wage projects, and operational excellence within an outsourced payroll setting. Strong organization and communication are essential, with exposure to Power BI and AI tools.

Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience managing prevailing wage payroll and certified payroll reporting (Mandatory)
• Experience with payroll or HCM systems, such as Workday, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Power BI and AI tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
• Understanding tax regulations, labor laws, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with employees and internal teams.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports (e.g., WH-347) to clients, government agencies, and other required entities within deadlines
• Manage payroll-related inquiries by researching issues, resolving discrepancies, and responding to questions about pay, deductions, and time-off accruals.
• Review payroll transactions, employee data updates, and exception reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and audit weekly payroll for employees on prevailing wage projects, ensuring accuracy in gross wages, deductions, net pay, and overtime calculations
• Maintain payroll process documentation, prepare management reports, and support audit activities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
