Siemens Energy Staffing seeks a Payroll Specialist to support the North America payroll team, ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance. You will manage case work, data validation, reporting, and audit readiness while coordinating with stakeholders and payroll providers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, service orientation, and building payroll operations expertise within a compliant, fast-paced environment. Prior experience with prevailing wage is required.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in prevailing wage payroll and certified payroll reporting
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with payroll/HCM systems (Workday) and Excel
• Proficiency with Power BI and AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and customer service when working with employees and internal teams

Responsabilidades

• Prepare certified payroll reports (e.g., WH-347) to clients, agencies, and entities on time
• Handle payroll inquiries; research issues and resolve discrepancies
• Review payroll transactions and data updates for accuracy
• Process and audit weekly payroll for prevailing wage projects; ensure correct gross pay, deductions, and overtime
• Maintain payroll process documentation and assist with audits
• Perform additional duties as assigned
