The role focuses on certified payroll administration, prevailing wage reporting, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, HR, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience managing prevailing wage payroll and certified payroll reporting (Mandatory).
• Experience with payroll or HCM systems, such as Workday, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Power BI and AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports (e.g., WH-347) within deadlines.
• Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies; respond to pay and time-off questions.
• Review payroll transactions and exception reports for accuracy.
• Process and audit weekly payroll for prevailing wage projects, ensuring gross wages, deductions, and overtime accuracy.
• Maintain payroll process documentation, prepare management reports, and support audit activities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
