Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a qualified specialist to support certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance in the Seattle project environment. You will maintain the payroll system, assist with site audits, and ensure subcontractor adherence to wage regulations.

Responsibilities include overseeing apprenticeship program compliance, auditing payroll submissions, and coordinating with project staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited program and 3 years of certified payroll experience.
• Prevailing wage compliance and public works knowledge in OR/WA preferred (Oregon BOLI and WA L&I familiarity).
• Construction-related experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of certified payroll policies and processes.
• Knowledge of DBRA and related regulations; high integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic certified payroll compliance system and assist with project site audits and subcontractor compliance.
• Verify apprenticeship program compliance with approved agencies and submit apprentice certificates in payroll system.
• Audit subcontractor payroll submissions for accuracy and address findings; manage discrepancies.
