Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik in Houston, TX seeks a Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship Manager to lead compliance for Davis-Bacon Act, IRA, wage determinations, and apprenticeship programs, coordinating with Project Management, Contracts, and Training teams.

You will audit payroll, manage LMS training, prepare required reports for the US Department of Labor and clients, and mentor staff while driving cost efficiency and program excellence across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in a similar Prevailing Wage/Apprenticeship/Compliance role preferred.
• Experience with Davis-Bacon Act and IRA compliance highly desirable.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex apprenticeship programs across multiple projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LMS platforms; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance programs for IRA-qualified projects.
• Serve as subject matter expert on regulatory requirements and audit readiness.
• Coordinate training and LMS activities across departments; manage documentation and reporting.
• Prepare and present reports to DWT leadership, DoL, and clients.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Contracts, Training, and Operations to ensure contract and wage compliance.
• Review payroll records and assist in wage classifications and determinations.
• Provide guidance for policy development and corrective actions for compliance issues.
