Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Compliance Auditor for a 1-year contract. This position will primarily work remotely with some travel involved, ensuring compliance with wage and apprenticeship requirements for renewable energy projects.
The auditor will be responsible for auditing contractor data, creating reports for deficiencies, and presenting findings to management. Candidates should have at least 3 years of payroll experience and a bachelor's degree. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and a 401(k) savings plan.
Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Compliance Auditor (PWACA)
Location: Remote with Travel: 15%
This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). You will work remotely to ensure compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements for renewable energy projects. You will audit data inputs from contractors, verifying completeness and correctness, create reports for deficiencies, and present findings to upper management.
The PWACA will also enter data into dashboards and host meetings to discuss compliance status. This includes reviewing payroll and determining if the client pays correct wages, makes fringe benefits contributions, and fulfills all other aspects of labor compliance per client requirements/contract.
