Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social sciences, criminal justice, or public administration.
• Course work in substance use, mental health, and/or domestic violence studies.
• Five years of experience in criminal justice or social services supervising justice-involved individuals.
• Must pass background clearance for access to corrections facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings for individuals involved in criminal cases by verifying information and completing pretrial risk assessments.
• Supervise clients on pretrial release based on risk classification system.
• Monitor client compliance with court-ordered conditions and file violation reports.
• Make referrals to community service providers.
• Verify that court orders have been followed and document compliance.
• Access criminal history databases.
• Maintain accurate files and timely court documentation.
• May assign cases to Pretrial Services Officers.
