Job summary

Knife River Prestress is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to support production quality and PCI compliance in our prestressed concrete manufacturing facility in Oregon. This hands-on role requires performing concrete testing, inspections, and documentation with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in precast or prestressed concrete, strong data recording skills, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to read shop drawings and follow PCI quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in precast or prestressed concrete manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with concrete materials testing and construction quality control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM testing daily to support concrete production and quality.
• Inspect prestressed concrete products against shop drawings for tolerances.
• Verify reinforcing steel placement, strand patterns, and lifting hardware.
• Document inspection data and report non-conformances.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality concerns and ensure conformance.
• Support PCI compliance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
