Zusammenfassung

Knife River Prestress is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to support production quality and PCI compliance at our prestressed concrete facility. You will independently perform concrete testing, dimensional inspections, documentation, and verification of specification compliance with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include daily ASTM testing, inspecting products against drawings, and reporting data.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in precast, prestressed or concrete testing/inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specs.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook for data documentation.

Aufgaben

• Perform ASTM testing to support concrete production (slump, air, unit weight, etc.).
• Inspect prestressed concrete products against drawings before/during/after casting.
• Verify reinforcement, strand patterns, inserts, and lifting hardware per drawings.
• Document inspection data and report non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality concerns and ensure conformance.
• Support plant safety initiatives and maintain clean work area.
