Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category by engaging guests, assessing their needs, and guiding selections of color cosmetics, skincare and fragrance.

This role supports the Sales Manager, contributes to exceptional guest service, and helps maintain store standards, displays and in-store events. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology license or esthetician license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omnichannel sales, focusing on prestige and icons.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, assessing needs, and recommending products and services.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to enhance guest experience and sales goals.
• Stay informed about trends and ingredients to better assist guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and store standards.
