Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize prestige sales across color cosmetics, skincare and fragrance by engaging guests and identifying their needs. You will support the Sales Manager through a focus on service, events and guest experience while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include makeup demonstrations, product knowledge, and assisting with in-store events. A passion for beauty and strong guest service skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, retail shrink and omni-channel sales, with a focus on prestige and iconic brands.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, recommending products, and informing guests of promotions and events.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events, supporting delivery of prestige and iconic brand sales goals.
• Stay informed on industry trends and products to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
