Qualifications

  • 1-5 years experience with ASME section VIII code pressure vessel calculations.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and CEASAR for pipe stress analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Apply customer design specifications and develop equipment standards.
  • Coordinate project design and direct drafting team members.
  • Audit fabrication shops and inspect fabrication sites as needed.

Job description

  • Responsible for applying customer design specifications and in developing equipment standards
  • Help coordinate project design and direct drafting team members in developing general arrangements and outline drawings
  • Audit fabrication shops, review fabrication quotations and drawings, and inspect fabrication sites as needed
  • Prepare ASME code calculations and perform stress analysis
  • Participate in commissioning to ensure that system meets contract requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
  • 1-5 years experience with ASME section VIII code pressure vessel calculations ideally using Compress
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Proficiency using CEASAR for pipe stress analysis is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%-20%
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional oriented setting
  • Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
