Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a manufacturing leader to direct daily operations at the North Plant. You will oversee crewing, safety culture, coach operators, and drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and direction to manufacturing teams, including crewing assignments and performance expectations.
• Champion safety and quality culture through observations and corrective actions.
• Monitor production and troubleshoot with operators to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Partner with department leadership and cross-functional teams to identify process improvements.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and performance.
