Job summary

Clearbridge Executive Search is seeking an operations leader to drive plant performance in a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong P&L accountability, strategic direction, and hands-on Lean/CI expertise.

The candidate will lead production, scheduling, and cost control using ERP systems, while developing a high-performing team and ensuring safety and quality. On-site role with broad responsibilities across budgeting, capital planning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5–10 years of relevant operational leadership experience.
• Proven leadership with disciplined execution and business objective attainment.
• Strong business and financial acumen including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Demonstrated integrity, dependability, and resilience under pressure.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem identification, and continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations using ERP systems to optimize production scheduling, inventory, and cost control.
• Own full plant P&L including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and variance analysis.
• Build and develop a high-performing workforce through recruiting, training, coaching, and succession planning.
• Improve safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, yield, and scrap; monitor KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration on the manufacturing floor and lead Lean/CI initiatives (DMAIC, VSM, root cause analysis).
