Company Overview:Allegiance Staffing is hiring Press Operators on behalf of a customer in Louisville, KY. This opportunity is with a high-volume metal stamping facility that values safety, precision, and efficiency. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on machine operation, thrive in a manufacturing environment, and want to grow within the industry.
Position Overview:The Press Operator is responsible for operating computer-controlled stamping presses, performing quality checks, assisting with machine troubleshooting, and supporting continuous production flow. Candidates must be safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial setting.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain machines such as presses, welders, cranes, and forklifts
  • Perform daily equipment checks and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Feed materials and tooling into machines and assist with production changeovers
  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections (PQI, SPC, etc.)
  • Record and enter production data into the company computer system
  • Identify and document production issues, collaborate with team to implement solutions
  • Assist with training of other operators as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure focus is maintained on press operations at all times
  • Package materials and maintain accurate part counts
  • Perform basic material handling duties as needed
  • Work with quality and maintenance teams to resolve production issues
  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines
  • Basic arithmetic and computer skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Must have a reliable attendance record
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Forklift experience
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled facility
  • Exposure to oil, grease, dust, fumes, and loud noise
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull 10–50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, pull, push, and use repetitive motion for up to 10 hours
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work near moving mechanical parts
