A local production company is looking to add Packers to work the packing lines! Press Operators for production. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to join a family and team-oriented environment.

Available Shifts:

• 1st- Monday-Thursday / 5:15am- 3:45pm
• 2nd- Monday-Thursday / 3:30pm- 2:00am
• 3rd- Monday-Thursday / 7:00pm - 5:45am
• Weekend- Friday-Sunday / 5:15am - 5:45pm

Job Details:

In this production role, you will be completing various duties such as boxing products, checking quality, weighing products, pulling products off the line, packaging, and other duties assigned by your supervisor. Training will be provided and this company encourages employees who want growth!

• Support the production of safe, high-quality products and ensure team member safety.
• Must have a completed High School Diploma, HSE, or GED.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and maintain footing on concrete floors.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 30-50 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Complies with GMP, food safety, and safety standards at all times.
• Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work in a team environment.
• Some positions require working in an extreme environment of -20 degrees.
• Must know proper lifting and bending techniques.
• Possess good basic math skills.
• Responsible for following all Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs).

Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Monitor the production process to ensure quality products per customer specifications.
• Comply with plant policies, safety, and E.P.A. regulations.
• Ensure productivity goals are met by monitoring run speeds, setup times, and support department coordination.
• Achieve or exceed waste goals through inspections, procedures, and accurate reporting.
• Cross-training will be provided for all associates.
• Communicate orally and in writing via email with other departments to resolve mechanical issues, report defective materials, coordinate job preparations, change-overs, and shift information.
