Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a #3 Operator in Press for our printing plant team. You will operate state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses, perform setup and production tasks, and ensure product quality and safety are maintained.

The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a clear path for growth within the Core Publishing Solutions team. Competitive hours and shift details are provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience desired.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills; able to read measurements.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and PPE use.
• Regularly lift 5 lbs overhead and up to 50 lbs; stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew on the press, perform setup and production activities, typically on the back-end of the presses to ensure the press is running smoothly.
• Read the DSR and job specifications, and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
• Quality check products for customers; complete transactions; bundle and tag products.
• Fill in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators during absences or breaks.
• Monitor equipment and product quality; maintain housekeeping; document activities in Tier Boards and relevant systems (MII, SAP).
• Follow safety procedures; attend safety and environmental training; report hazards.
