You will review job specs, perform make-ready tasks, adjust color and registration, handle plate mounting with precision, and ensure equipment operates within tight tolerances. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating gravure/offset presses to achieve color accuracy.
• Ability to interpret job specs and ensure correct press configuration.
• Proficiency in plate handling, alignment, and maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to tolerances and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a gravure press or offset press to print single-color, two-color, and multi-color work with critical color values and registration.
• Review job specifications to determine press setup according to run imposition.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hanging plates, installing cylinders, inspecting plates/cylinders, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, and replace worn parts; perform periodic maintenance.
