Qualifications

• Requires knowledge to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain equipment to produce multi-color work to tolerances.
• Ability to read job specs and determine press settings and materials.
• Proficient micrometer use for mounting printing plates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure or offset presses.
• Review specifications for imposition and run type.
• Perform make-ready tasks and inspect plates/cylinders for accuracy.
• Make color corrections and ensure quality.
• Maintain and lubricate presses; perform routine maintenance.
