Job summary

VAL-CO in Coldwater, OH is seeking a Full-Time Press Operator at our Coldwater facility to operate production machines, read blueprints, adjust settings, and ensure quality and safety.

Starting wage depends on experience with a $2.50 shift differential plus a quarterly bonus. PTO and a floating holiday after 90 days are offered, with advancement paths to setup, laser, welder, or other skilled roles. Training is provided onsite.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams.
• Operate production machines following procedures.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the production area.
• Achieve piece rate targets when applicable.

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner
• Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
• Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
• Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area
• BE ABLE TO MAKE PIECE RATE
