Job summary

VAL-CO, a leader in poultry equipment, seeks a Spotwelder for the Coldwater, Ohio facility on 2nd shift. Earn $22.13–$30.16 per hour with a Monday–Thursday schedule and a $2.50 shift differential. Generous PTO accrual after 90 days and a chance to contribute to a critical production line.

You will set up and operate a spot-welder, maintain records, inspect parts, and follow safety rules while keeping your area organized and productive.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work documents including part drawings.
• Able to perform basic math operations.
• Able to read basic measuring tools.
• Physically able to meet essential job functions.
• Able to follow directions and work well with others.
• Good understanding of CNC controls.
• Able to write legibly and communicate effectively.
• Basic understanding of resistance welding.

Responsibilities

• Properly set-up and operate Spot-welder and controller to meet company safety, quality and quantity standards.
• Keep accurate records of control settings, tooling and fixtures required to run jobs.
• Keep inventory on necessary spot-welding tips and place orders as needed.
• Inspect parts using master, drawing or process sheet to assure they meet quality standard.
• Adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Follow proper packaging, storage and handling instructions for completed parts.
• Reposition parts with hand lift into or out of work area as needed.
• Properly complete all paperwork such as time cards, production cards, parts tags, scrap reports, work order sheets, etc.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Report all quality or safety problems to supervisor or coordinator.
• Plan and schedule ensuing jobs efficiently and expediently

VAL-CO a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems, is currently looking for a Spotwelder on 2nd Shift at our Coldwater, Ohio facility.

• COMPETITIVE WAGES- Top out pay of $27.66; starting wages depend on experience; $2.50 shift differential for 2nd shift
