Job summary

Valco Companies, a leader in poultry and swine production equipment, is seeking Full-Time Assembly Fans at our Coldwater, Ohio facility. You will perform fabrication and assembly for fan models, follow safety and quality standards, and complete required paperwork in a fast-paced line environment.

Starting wages up to $27.18 per hour, with experience-based progression and benefits eligibility after 90 days, plus a quarterly incentive bonus and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability,

Qualifications

• Ability to read and perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to count parts and follow procedures.
• Good manual dexterity for assembly work.
• Quality and safety consciousness throughout tasks.
• Valid forklift license required.

VALCO a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems, is currently looking for Full-Time Assembly Fans in the Coldwater, Ohio facility.

Benefits offered:

• Offering up to $27.18/hr.; starting wage depends on experience
• Benefits eligibility after 90 days.
• Quarterly Incentive Bonus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform fabrication and assembly operations for all designated fan models in fan line work center and Hemi fan work center.
• Perform all fabricating operations according to company methods, safety, quality, and quantity standards.
• Properly complete all required paperwork
• Assure parts meet quality standards and count is accurate on all cartoning jobs
• Setup assigned jobs as required
• Move parts or loads into and out of work station as required
• Keep work area neat and orderly

Requirements:

• Able to read, do basic math and complete all required paperwork properly.
• Able to accurately count parts and follow job procedures
• Good dexterity to perform assembly operations
• Quality and safety conscious
• Valid forklift license

Essential Job Functions

• Must be able to turn laterally 90 degrees to right and left up to 200 times per hour for 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height
• Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift
• Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs up to 6' distance up to 100 times per hour for 8 hour shift
• Must be able to legibly complete all necessary paperwork
• Must be able to align two parts and assemble with bolt, lockwasher and nut to meet quality and quantity standards
• Must be able to use appropriate hand tools, writing utensils and measuring devices required to meet quality, safety and quantity standards
