Job Description

Hours:

3rd Shift: 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday-Thursday

Shift Differential: $2/hr

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections, and checking for correct image positioning, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, including minor repairs and part replacements.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, safety requirements, and skills to perform assignments.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and press capabilities to determine appropriate press usage, settings, and materials.
• Skill to make precise control settings and perform routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of proper packing pressure for printing quality.
• Skill in using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates accurately.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $22.00/hr to $30.90/hr, which may vary based on geographic location, education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and other factors. Compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives.
