Press Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift (Finance)

We are looking for a Press Operator to join our team. The Press Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical press, inspecting parts, and assembling for quality per blueprints and manufacturing specifications.

We are hiring for 2nd shift, from 2PM to 10PM. Employees should be open to working either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, plus 3 weekend shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and measure parts coming off the press to ensure they meet specifications.
• Make adjustments such as tightening hold-down bolts, die springs, pins, and adjusting guides, rolls, and feed length to maintain quality.
• Ensure continuous operation of the press and proper feeding of material.
• Load coil material and thread through roll feed equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain operation of parts washer and lube tank.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Support team objectives and perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Ability to perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience with quality checks using dial calipers.
• Maintain press operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift license required.
