Job summary

Clow Stamping Company is seeking a hands-on Press Operator to run hydraulic presses that produce precision metal parts for manufacturers across the country. You will learn setup, operation, inspection, and how to follow work orders and blueprints while keeping production moving.

No manufacturing experience? We’ll train you from day one and pay you while you learn, with room to advance as you gain skills in manufacturing. Multiple shifts and a starting pay rate are offered.

• Basic math and measurement skills are required.
• Willingness to learn how to use measurement tools and ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Set up presses, including tooling changes and job preparation.
• Load materials and in-process parts and operate the press.
• Run blanking, piercing, and forming operations.
• Inspect parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Follow work orders, blueprints, and quality requirements.
• Record production information in our ERP system.
• Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized.

If you like working with machines, building things, and staying active, a Press Operator role at Clow could be a great place to start.

As a Press Operator, you'll operate hydraulic presses that produce precision metal parts used by manufacturers across the country. You'll learn how to set up and run equipment, work from work orders and blueprints, inspect parts, and keep production moving.

No manufacturing experience? No problem. We'll train you from day one and pay you while you learn. As you gain experience, you'll build skills that can open the door to additional opportunities in manufacturing.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 15: 5:00am – 3:00pm, Monday – Thursday
• Shift 16: 3:00pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential)
• Shift 21: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

• $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
• Lift and carry materials up to 100 lbs.
• Bend, reach, and lift parts from waist to shoulder height frequently
• Use hands for tool operation and press setup
• Required PPE: hearing protection, eye protection, MET guard safety shoes
