Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking experienced Press Operators for 1st and 2nd shifts in Hauppauge, NY. You will set up, run, and maintain equipment to produce foil lids and specialty packaging materials, with a hourly pay range of $22-$25.

Expect a manufacturing environment with GMPs and safety protocols. High School diploma and 2 years’ experience required, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in machine operation or press operation.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with GMPs and safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up printing press or die-cutting equipment per specs and work orders.
• Mix inks, mount/demount printing plates, manage ink storage.
• Load/unload and move raw materials and finished components.
• Perform quality checks on print alignment, seal integrity, and color output; follow GMPs and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine machine upkeep; assist with washdowns.

Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a stable position with a leading packaging manufacturer in Hauppauge? We are seeking reliable Press Operators for both 1st Shift and 2nd Shift positions.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining equipment used to manufacture high-quality foil lids and specialty packaging materials.

salary: $22 - $25 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 4 AM - 1 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up printing press or die-cutting equipment according to job specifications and work orders.
• Ink & Plate Preparation: Mix inks to required specifications, mount and demount printing plates, and manage the ink storage area.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished components within the facility to support production targets.
• Quality & Safety: Perform regular quality checks on print alignment, seal integrity, and color output; strictly follow company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform routine machine cleanups, assist press operators with washdowns, and keep workspace orderly.
