Press Operator (3rd Shift - Hours 11pm-7am Monday through Friday)

Hourly rate based on experience (plus $1 differential for Overnight Shift)

Compensation will be discussed during the initial phone screen

Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced Press Operator to lead press operations for 3rd Shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing press performance, ensuring product quality, coordinating changeovers, and supporting the development of Press Assistants. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, safety, and quality standards helping deliver high-quality flexible packaging products to customers.

  • Operateandoversee printing press equipment to ensure safe and efficient production
  • Prepare and executepress changeovers to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Monitor productquality throughout the production process and ensure compliance withcustomer specifications
  • Train, mentor, andsupport Press Assistants on equipment operation, safety procedures, andquality standards
  • Perform preventativemaintenance activities in accordance with company procedures
  • Troubleshootequipment and production issues and elevate concerns when necessary
  • Maintain accurateproduction, quality, and waste records
  • Ensure all work iscompleted in compliance with safety, quality, GMP, and plant policies
  • Maintain a clean,organized, and efficient work area
  • Report safetyconcerns, equipment issues, and quality deviations immediately
  • Support continuousimprovement initiatives and operational excellence efforts
  • Perform other dutiesas assigned
Requirements
  • Previous printingpress, flexographic press, manufacturing, or machine operation experiencerequired
  • Strong understandingof quality standards and production processes
