Job summary

Amcor in Lancaster, Wisconsin, is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant to support press line operations, including change-overs, start-up, running and shutdown, while upholding safety and quality.

You will work with press operators to minimize downtime, prepare inks, stocks, cylinders and ensure products meet customer specs, and follow SOPs and SOCs.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Able to understand a computer and programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Color vision to identify colored materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of press line operation, including change-overs.
• Support safety initiatives and quality compliance.
• Set up jobs according to SOPs and SOCs, report discrepancies.
• Help minimize downtime with operator collaboration.
• Ensure materials such as inks, stocks, cylinders are ready for the next job.
• Aid maintenance to get the machine back on line.
