Utility Metals in Louisville, KY is hiring a 1st Shift Press Brake Operator to set up, adjust, and operate press brake machinery to bend and form heavy-duty steel components for industrial storage products. You will read technical blueprints, select tooling, and perform rigorous quality checks to maintain our high standards of craftsmanship.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read drawings, and a commitment to safety in a non-temperature-regulated facility.

Competenze

• Read engineering drawings/blueprints to determine tooling and bending sequences.
• Inspect finished components using measuring tools to ensure high-quality standards.
• Maintain strict safety procedures and operate machinery with precision.

• Set up and program press brake machines by selecting dies, punches, and back gauges per blueprint specifications.
• Form and bend sheet metal and steel plate to precise angles for cabinets, workstations, and carts.
