KCC Companies in Louisville, KY is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to set up and operate a CNC press brake, bending sheet metal to drawings. You will read prints, use precision measuring tools, and maintain equipment.

This hands-on role requires safety awareness, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the capacity to work extended hours. ESOP company with benefits such as paid holidays and 401K match.

Competenze

• Metal forming training or apprenticeship completed.
• Ability to use common measuring equipment for sheet metal.
• Experience with brake press and tooling is preferred.
• Must read drawings and understand tolerance requirements.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate brake press to bend sheet metal to drawing specifications.
• Read work instructions, prints and routers for the job.
• Use measuring devices to verify part accuracy.
• Program CNC press brake and adjust tooling.
• Maintain machine and tooling daily and ensure safety.
• May obtain forklift license.
• Report problems to Team Leader.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
• Assist maintenance with repairs.
• Recommend improvements to drawings and tooling.
