Job summary
Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced Press Brake/Machine Operator for a metal manufacturing facility in Erlanger, KY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on press brake experience, machine setup preferred, and be comfortable working with sheet metal, blueprints, measurements, and basic mathematical calculations.
The Press Brake Operator will review part drawings, set up and operate brake press equipment, enter bend dimensions and bend deductions, and make adjustments to ensure parts meet
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of machine or press brake operating experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong basic math skills; fractions to decimals.
- Comfort with measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, protractor).
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines.
- Read blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Enter bend dimensions and bend deductions into machine controls.
- Learn and adjust brake press programs as needed.
- Perform basic math and measurements with tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
- Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
