Job summary

Mack Hils is seeking a press brake operator to load dies, program bending operations, and ensure parts meet dimensional specs using calipers and measuring tools. The role includes maintaining machines, promoting safety, and keeping work areas clean.

Ideal candidates will be proficient with forklift operation and able to read blueprints and documents to follow procedures. On-site position in Missouri.

Qualifications

  • Move finished part to next area of production.
  • Shut down machine using proper safety procedures.
  • Maintain machines after each production run.
  • Ensure shop cleanliness in each department area.

Job description

Summary

Receives production parts, loads Press Brake with correct die, and programs Press Brake Machine (s) to bend parts. Requires knowledge of programming modes and maintenance of Press Brake machine. Knowledge and use of calipers, measuring tape, grinder, and forklift is also a requirement.

Essential Functions

  • Receive job packets for production part orders.

  • Program machine to perform correct bending operation on produced parts.
  • Continually check bend dimensions according to print with measuring tools per quality.

  • Ability to operate computer
