The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates according to technical specifications and blueprints. Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation:
• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates. oAdjust machine settings, including pressure, bend angles, and back gauges, based on job requirements.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to ensure machine accuracy and optimal performance.
• Blueprint Reading and Technical Interpretation:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine bending requirements and setups.
• Verify dimensions and angles of bent parts using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, protractors) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Identify and correct any defects or deviations from specifications during and after the bending process.
• Machine Maintenance:
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines to ensure they remain in good working condition.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper use of safety devices on the press brake machine.
