Job summary

Dane Manufacturing Company in Waunakee, WI is seeking a skilled metal fabrication operator to set up and run panel bending equipment and produce precise sheet metal parts. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and troubleshoot while maintaining safety and quality across shifts.

Ideal candidates have CNC or panel bending experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a dedication to teamwork and process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Experience with CNC equipment, panel benders, press brakes, or similar machinery.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Set up and operate panel bending equipment to produce sheet metal parts.
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job instructions.

• Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Record production, downtime, and quality information.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
