Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing seeks a 1st shift Punch Press Set-up/Operator to prepare and run metal stamping presses from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. You will select tooling, read blueprints, and troubleshoot forming problems to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to read basic blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operates, and adjust 5ton to 200ton metal stamping presses.
• Select the correct tooling for the job task with set-up documents or supervisor/lead assistance.
• Able to troubleshoot metal forming problems.
• Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
• Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
• Strong work ethic.
