Press Brake Operator

Location: Macon, Georgia
Salary: Up to $25 per hour (plus overtime)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in Macon, Georgia. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and precise bending of metal components. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Press Brake Operation: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal and structural shapes according to specifications.

  2. Machine Setup: Prepare the press brake machine for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and programming.

  3. Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.

  4. Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto the press brake machine, ensuring safe and efficient handling.

  5. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

  6. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  7. Record Keeping: Maintain production logs, records, and documentation accurately.

  8. Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of press brake machinery and the ability to set up and program machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
