As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by transforming raw sheet metal into precisely formed, high-quality components. Set up, select, and load required CNC programs and precision tooling into press brake machinery to meet strict product specifications.
Form and adjust sheet metal parts to precise engineering dimensions, ensuring tight tolerances and minimal material waste.
Conduct rigorous quality control inspections using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
Perform essential daily maintenance and safety checks on machinery to maintain optimal operational performance and prevent downtime.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace by upholding 5S standards and adhering to safety protocol.
Collaborate with production teammates and cross-functional operators to assist with general fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.
1 to 3 years of hands-on fabrication or equivalent experience, combined with 5+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and technical specifications.
Demonstrated proficiency using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers, alongside basic mathematical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a adaptable, positive team attitude.
High level of detail orientation and quality-first mindset.
Forklift or tow motor operating experience is highly preferred.
