Job summary

Anchor Fabrication LLC in Denton, Texas seeks experienced Press Brake Operators for 1st and 2nd shifts. Responsibilities include setting up and operating Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprints and specifications.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and strong math skills. GD&T knowledge and experience with Amada/Trumpf brakes and Epicor are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
• Blueprint reading.
• Good math skills.
• GD&T knowledge and must pass test.
• Amada/Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
• Epicor experience a plus.

Job description

Anchor Fabrication is a precision metal fabrication company located in Denton, Texas, and is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st and 2nd shift.

Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications.

Duties And Functions

• Set up and operate all machine types Press Brake Fabricator.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience And Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
• Blueprint reading
• Good math skills
• G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
• Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
• Epicor experience a plus.

Education

• High School or Equivalent
