Job summary

Anchor Fabrication LLC in Lavergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift. The role involves setting up and operating brake equipment to bend, form, and straighten metal to blueprints.

Qualified candidates should have 5 years of sheet metal fabrication experience, blueprint reading skills, and strong math abilities. GD&T knowledge and experience with Amada or Trumpf brakes are a plus; Epicor experience is also valued.

Qualifications

Press Brake Operators

1st Shift

Anchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company located in Lavergne, Tennessee, is seeking experienced Brake Operators for the 1stshift.

Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a press brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock to blueprints or specifications.

Duties And Functions

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.


• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.


• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.


• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.


• Maintain a clean and safe work area.


• May be required to work overtime or a different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.


• Other duties as assigned.

Experience And Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.

• G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
