Job summary

Anchor Fabrication is seeking experienced Brake Operators for the 2nd shift in Denton, TX. The role offers a graveyard shift with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for experienced operators and a $1.00 shift differential, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating brake machines, reading blueprints, inspecting pieces, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Requires strong math, GD&T knowledge, and blueprint reading ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry.
• Blueprint reading proficiency.
• GD&T knowledge and strong math skills.
• Amada and Trumpf brake experience is a plus.
• Epicor experience is a plus.

About the Company

Anchor Fabrication is a precision metal fabrication company located in Denton, Texas, and is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 2nd shift $1.00 shift differential, hours 3:30pm-12:00am Monday- Friday plus overtime as needed.

Duties and Functions

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
• Blueprint reading
• Good math skills
• G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
• Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
• Epicor experience a plus.

Education

• High School or Equivalent
• Technical School Experience a plus
