Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Denton, Texas, is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for the 1st shift (7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) with overtime. You will set up and operate brake presses, bend metal to blueprints, and verify quality through first/last piece inspection.

Candidates need 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication, blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and Amada/Trumpf brake experience; Epicor experience is a plus. High school diploma or technical schooling preferred. $1,000 sign-on bonus; EOE.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading required.
• Good math skills required.
• GD&T knowledge and must pass test.
• Experience with Amada/Trumpf brakes and Epicor software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Overtime or shift changes as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
