Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Denton, TX is hiring for Press Brake Operators on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, and straighten metal per blueprints. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sheet metal, with blueprint reading, math, and GD&T knowledge, and a willingness to work overtime.

Experience with Amanda and Trumpf brake machines and Epicor is a plus; HS diploma or technical training is preferred. Equal opportunity employer in a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe work area; report issues promptly.
• Overtime or different shift may be required based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Anchor Fabrication is a precision metal fabrication company located in Denton, Texas, and is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st and 2nd shift.Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications.Duties and Functions:Set up and operate all machine types Press Brake Fabricator.Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.Maintain a clean and safe work area.May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.Other duties as assigned.Experience and Qualifications:5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.Blueprint readingGood math skillsG/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.Epicor experience a plus.Education:High School or EquivalentTechnical School Experience a plusLocation: 1550 N.
