Job summary

Orthman Conveying Systems in Cleburne, TX is seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. You will set up and operate CNC press brake machines, read blueprints and engineering drawings, select tooling, and perform first-piece inspections to ensure parts meet specs.

You will work closely with welders and machinists to meet customer deadlines, maintain a clean, safe work area, and follow all safety procedures. Orthman offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with CNC press brakes is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Select tooling and machine settings for each job.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
• Measure parts using calipers, angle gauges, tape measures, and other precision tools.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Safely move materials using overhead cranes and forklifts (training available).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with welders, machinists, and production teams to meet deadlines.
