Job summary

Orthman Conveying Systems in Cleburne, TX is seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. You will set up and operate CNC press brake machines, read blueprints and engineering drawings, select tooling, and perform first-piece inspections to ensure parts meet specs.

You will work closely with welders and machinists to meet customer deadlines, maintain a clean, safe work area, and follow all safety procedures. Orthman offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Experience with CNC press brakes is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Select tooling and machine settings for each job.
Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
Measure parts using calipers, angle gauges, tape measures, and other precision tools.
Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Safely move materials using overhead cranes and forklifts (training available).
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Collaborate with welders, machinists, and production teams to meet deadlines.
